Instructions:

  1. Click on one of the open signup sheets.
  2. Review the list of available volunteer opportunities. 
  3. Click on “Sign up” to access the signup form.
  4. Fill out all of the blanks on the sign up form. You are not required to log on before signing up. If you are logged on, the signup form will automatically be filled in with the information in your user profile. You may override this information if you wish.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the form and click on “Sign me up!”.

Volunteers will receive a confirmation email shortly after signing up. If you have not received a confirming email within a few hours of signing up, click HERE to email the admins.

San Bruno Mountain Hill Climb

DETAILS:

PV proudly puts on the first race on the NCNCA calendar on New Year’s Day. It is simply a one way trip up San Bruno Mountain from the Brisbane side. The staging area is in the Parking lot right off of N. Hill Dr and Guadelupe Canyon Parkway.

*Note for Course Marshal Post 3 (County Park Entrance) volunteers: leaf blower/brooms needed, bring cones from registration area.

** Volunteers for Moto and Medic should email volunteer@penvelo.org and confirm their qualifications prior to volunteering.

*** Volunteer check-in: One volunteer is needed to check in volunteers and assign tasks to reserve volunteers. This person should have good managerial skills.

**** SAG Driver: Collect warm clothing from racers before the start of the race, then drive up to the finish line where racers will pick them up for the descent. Must have valid drivers license and appropriate vehicle.

Reserve Volunteers will help out wherever needed. They may be asked to pitch and help out at a variety of tasks or to fill in for a volunteer who had to cancel at the last minute. Don’t worry – you will have plenty to do!
