Murray Swanson – District Champion M45+
Murray Swanson led a strong PV contingent at the NCNCA District Cyclocross Championships held at Lange Twins Winery in Acampo, CA. Murray took his third consecutive bear jersey for master men 45+ on a tough, muddy course and against a stacked field which included current world champion Don Myrah.
It was a great day for PV, with three other racers landing on the podium. Terry Langeman started the day off by winning the M55+C race. Murray’s daughter, Madelyn, took home the bronze medal for junior women 15-16 and Yvonne Walbroehl took silver for women 55+.
