Group Rides and COVID-19

Please be advised:

UPDATE: Shelter-in-place orders remain in effect at the state level, as well as in all Bay Area counties. Social distancing protocols are required when exercising outdoors, which precludes group rides.

In light of the rapidly evolving progression of the COVID-19 pandemic, we strongly recommend that no one take part in any group rides, including the ones listed on our rides page, until further notice.

We hope this public health crisis is temporary.  We note that USA Cycling has suspended events and called on its member clubs to cancel all group activities. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) have both characterized COVID-19 as a pandemic.

While we love the camaraderie that group rides offer, we feel it would be irresponsible to ignore this threat to public health.

Of course, you are welcome to ride the routes on your own or to use your indoor trainer.

Please stay safe and healthy during this time.
